Sharing Tests
To learn more about how to Share Tests in the Classic Version of ESGI, please click here.
Overview
Teachers and admins can share the tests they have created with other teachers and admins in their district. Teachers and admins can also share a URL link of a test they are using with another teacher or admin to ensure they are adding the exact same test to their own subject tabs.
Sharing Tests
Before you can begin sharing or locating tests created by other teachers in your District, you must be linked. To verify if you are linked, click on the profile icon on the bottom of your dashboard screen.
1. Once in “My Account” click on the arrow expand button located at the top of the page.
2. Select the “School & District” option and find the “Link” option at the top.
3. If you are linked to your district, proceed to Test Explorer, where you can click on the District Tests to view the Tests published and shared by users in your district (excludes the user’s own tests). If you are the owner of a test, it will be listed under “My Test” (see Image 1).
Note: If your account isn't currently linked to your district and you wish to access tests created by other teachers or share the tests you’ve authored, please visit our forms page and complete the form to link your account.

Sharing a Test URL
Please follow these steps to share a test URL:
1. Open the Test Explorer and locate the test
2. Open it and copy the URL displayed at the top of the page (see Image 2).
3. Once you've copied the test's URL and pasted it into your browser, it will automatically launch.
Please Note: URLs can only be copied from Test Explorer and not from the home screen. Additionally, the user must be logged into their ESGI account to view the test.

Our Adding a Test to a Subject Tab Home Screen support page provides detailed information on finding and adding the shared tests to your account.
Please Note: If you've created a test and wish to control its visibility, you can easily check or uncheck the box labeled "Share Test". For guidance on how to edit or unshare a test, please refer to our support page Editing a Test.
