Running a Subset Test

Overview

The Subset Test feature allows you to administer only selected questions from a test, creating a shorter assessment without giving the full test.

How to View Test Session Details from the Homepage

1. From the Homepage, select the class, group, or student for which you’d like to see test session details.

2.You have two options to view the Test Session Details page:

1. Click the Test Session Details icon on the test card .

2. Select the date of the test session that you wish to run a subset test on.

Note: If the student has completed more than one test session, select the specific session for which you’d like to see details from the dropdown menu displayed. 

Test Dashboard

1. Click on the Test Title for which you'd like to view the test session to go to the test dashboard.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Sessions section.

3. Click on the Session Details button in the lower right to open the test card window.

Note: The tests will be listed by the date that they were given.

Creating a Subtest and Testing your Student

1. Select the Test Session you want to use to create the Subset.

2. In the test card window select Run Subset at the bottom of the page (Image 1).

3. Select any questions (Correct, Incorrect, and Not Tested) to run as a shorter test.

4. Click Start Test (Image 2).

5.When you complete the subset test, the Test Session Results screen will display your test score.

6. The Pie Chart and Class Totals Report will show both the results of the subset test as if the entire test were given.
