Check out the redesigned version of ESGI!
You spoke, and we listened! For over a year, the ESGI team has been collecting feedback for our Beta version. We’ve been working on ensuring our educators have the tools, insights, and easy access to data they need to successfully progress monitor, and this redesigned version of ESGI is the result. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us so that we can continue to mold ESGI into the product you want to see.
New Test Card Options
Four new test cards are available on the homepage, providing a superior level of customization when it comes to viewing student test data:
- Small: Our most compact design provides a simple view reminiscent of our Classic version of ESGI, allowing for five test cards per row.
- Medium: As our highest rated design while gathering feedback, this card type is small enough to show plenty of test data on the homepage without scrolling while providing more in-depth insights into student and class test performance.
- Large: With two cards per row, this card is large enough to provide a robust amount of test data in a more compact format.
- X-Large: This card provides the most insights per test and allows users to view their students’ test data in a vertically scrollable format.
New Test Card Features
In addition to having four new test cards, we’ve improved the general look and feel of each version as well. Through gathering user feedback, we’ve implemented:
- Full test-aligned color bars on all cards
- Larger, bolder fonts
- Modern, vibrant colors
- Improved test card reordering capabilities
New Student & Tab Selection Via Dropdowns
Our new dropdown selection options increase the ease of making student, class, group, and tab selections on the homepage while also creating more room on the page for test cards. And, our dropdowns are sophisticated enough to support adding students, editing tabs, and much more!
Simply select the test data you want to see on the homepage by opening the appropriate dropdown, changing the tab within the dropdown if needed, and hitting the arrow next to your selection. You can even pin the dropdown to keep it visible on the homepage for as long as you need. When you’re finished, simply unpin it or hit the X in the upper right corner.
New Logos
Many users have multiple types of ESGI accounts. To clearly differentiate between these account types, we’ve added unique logos for each of the following in the upper left corner of the application: ESGI Teacher, ESGI Specialist, and ESGI Trial User.
