We’re excited to share updates to the ESGI homepage designed to make your day-to-day work faster, clearer, and more customizable. These changes are the result of direct user feedback following our last homepage redesign release, along with interviews conducted with teachers, administrators, and key affiliate users. Your insights helped guide every decision in this redesign.
Who’s Affected?
- Current users on the new ESGI experience will see these updates automatically.
- Classic ESGI users will not be impacted. However, they can access the redesigned homepage at any time by switching to the new version via the Settings toggle.

1. Customizable Subject Tabs

- Choose whether to select subjects from a dropdown or display them as quick tabs
- Pick and choose which subject tabs appear on your homepage
- Tailor the view to match your workflow and instructional needs
2. Expandable Activities & Reports Panel
You’re in control of how much information you see.
- View activities and reports as simple icons for a clean, streamlined layout
- Expand the panel to display full titles when you want more clarity
3. Modernized Test Cards
We’ve refreshed the look and feel of test cards to improve both usability and accessibility.
- Brighter colors and bolder visuals
- Updated pie charts and rubric performance icons
- Larger fonts and stronger contrast for WCAG compliance
- A more modern, visually engaging homepage experience
4. Revised Session Details Modal
We’ve simplified the Session Details Modal to help you take action faster. You can now:
- Quickly view student performance at a glance
- Perform item analysis with fewer clicks
- Edit tests directly from the modal
- Launch Flashcards, Parent Letter, and Test History without leaving the view
5. Reduced Clicking for Activities
Creating activities is now quicker and more efficient.
- Removed step-by-step configuration modals for BINGO and Flashcards
- All activity configuration now happens on a single page
- Fewer clicks and faster setup from start to finish
